There are some common gas suppression systems, like FM-200 gas suppression system and CO₂ gas suppression system, etc. FM-200 gas suppression system can be divided into hanging type gas suppression system, cabinet type gas suppression system and manifold type gas suppression system.
When choosing the gas suppression system, which type should you choose? This article will analyze different types of gas suppression systems to help you in the selection.
FM-200 Gas Suppression System
Among these gas suppression systems, the FM-200 gas suppression system can be divided into several types: the hanging type gas suppression system, the cabinet type gas suppression system and the manifold type gas suppression system.
When choosing the FM-200 gas suppression system, you can refer to the following regulations:
Regulations on the number of equipment when installing FM-200 gas suppression systems in the protected area
1.When an FM-200 gas suppression system is used for two or more protected areas, it should not cover more than 8 protected areas.
2.There should be no more than 10 devices of FM-200 gas suppression system installed in a protected area.
3.When there is more than one gas suppression system device in one protected area, they can be started together if necessary, but the time difference between the actions of the devices should not be longer than 2 seconds.
Regulations for the area and volume of the places FM-200 gas suppression system is installed
1.The protected area should be divided into single enclosed spaces. When the ceiling and under-floor in the same section need to be protected together, they can be combined into one protected area.
2.When using a networking gas suppression system, its protecting area should not be larger than 800m², and the volume should not be larger than 3600m³.
3.When using a pre-engineered gas suppression system, its protecting area should not be larger than 500m², and the volume should not be larger than 1600m³.
It shows that the cabinet type gas suppression system and the hanging type gas suppression system are suitable for the protected area with a small volume.
CO₂ Gas Suppression System
When choosing the CO₂ gas suppression system, you can refer to the following regulations:
When the gas suppression system protects 5 or more protected areas or protection objects, or when the gas suppression system can’t be restored within 48 hours, there should be a reserve amount of CO₂, and the reserve amount should not be less than the storage amount planned by the system. For the high-pressure system and the low-pressure system with a separate reserve storage container, the reserve storage container should be connected to the system pipeline network and should be able to switch with the main storage container.
A fire hose is a highly pressurized hose that is used to bring water to the fire. It may also transport flame retardants. Fire hoses can be attached to either a fire engine or a fire hydrant, and the pressure is between 800 and 2000 kPa. For reasons of fire safety, it's quite important to have a fire hose inspection as well as all fire protection equipment tested. If, during a fire emergency, the fire hose fails it could have disastrous results.
Waterproof Heat Detector
Fixed Temperature Waterproof Heat Detector, the detector uses a bi-metallic strip to sense temperature change, therefore consuming minimal standby current and providing high reliability.
The Detector is particularly suited to environments, which are exposed to high levels of condensation or are hosed down. The detector has a wide operating margin allowing it to respond to both slow and fast increases in temperature; it can also sense temperature reliably in a horizontal or vertical position.
The Explosion Proof range of products has been designed to provide protection against explosions and products to ensure that all major advantages of high-quality fire detection technology can be safely exploited in industrial and hazardous environments. Many difficult sites such as metal, paint, pipelines, chemical, pharmaceutical, oil refineries, and other installations are vulnerable to the risk of explosion. In order to protect the assets and people, they need special solutions for fast and reliable fire detection.
Emergency lighting system is divided into centralized controlling and non-centralized controlling type, or centralized power supply and non-centralized power supply type. This article talks about emergency lighting system, power supply, emergency light controller installation guide.
